I’m visiting family in Butler, here from Seattle. I regularly eat fantastic, fresh Poke, being right on the Pacific Ocean. When I saw the creative presentation of this dish and tasted ingredients on the plate, I was blown away—5-stars, in any city!

Wow! Waitress was amazing, food was phenomenal. This place is a hidden gem! I rarely go to a restaurant where I can't get a beer but we wanted to give it a try and my gosh am I glad we did. Even my side salad was amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

Highly recommend stopping by Chop Shop if you're in Butler, PA. Their food was perfectly cooked and the A-pork-alypse was probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. It was clean and had a decent menu. My only issue was the food coming out was a bit slow when we visited, and it was during off hours with only a handful of other tables being occupied. It may have been a fluke, but at least the food was worth the wait.

Nice place, good service and friendly staff. I will go back as I didn't really get to look at the entire menu because my waitress sold me on the sandwich special as I was choosing an appetizer. Both were delicious.

I went to the Chop Shop with a friend and I ordered a ton of food to check out and review! First off the service was phenomenal, the server was friendly and pretty knowledgeable and her recommendations were good. The cooks seemed cool and like they cared but it did slightly bother me that one of them was eating food like straight off the line while preparing orders but I'm assuming he swapped gloves or washed hands in between bites and orders. The owners were both here when I came and both were working, one came in with produce and one was running around helping out. Super awesome to see and it really means a lot to me when I see owners who care and are a part of their business. The place is cool, atmosphere was a A+, plentiful seating and they were packed to the brim on a Tuesday around 1pm. Wait was about 30 minutes from order to arrival but that was fine with me because all the main parts of the food were fresh and hot. The nachos were fantastic and arrived first. Delicious, cheesy fresh chips and the roasted chicken on top hit the spot! Fries definitely finished before everything else. I saw basically they have a big bowl they were just taking fries from. I had both the sweet potato and regular, both were okay and probably good piping hot but idk. Burger was ordered rare and literally came out perfectly the way I wanted, server said the blend was brisket, chuck and "something else". The blend was fantastic and juicy but a shame the burger had no flavor, if they used a touch of kosher salt and/or garlic and onion powder it would elevate the burger to something I would definitely order again. As of now it was very bland, all the flavor came from the pot roast on top. The special was a pot roast wrap and it was my favorite thing, flavorful, veggies, cheese, just perfect. The cheeseburger soup is basically their queso and burger meat made into a soup, again the burger pieces were bland but the soup itself was super rich and thick and I would pour that over nachos, kinda gave me broccoli and cheddar vibes. Everybody in here was ordering their Fried chicken sandwich so I caved and ordered that too along with a brownie milkshake. The breading and chicken were cooked perfectly. Downsides were the vinegar heavy flavors probably from the coleslaw dressing and again the breading was very bland, needed like some Cajun seasoning in the flour or something. Also bread was about twice the size of the chicken so it was a little unbalanced after the breading was removed there was probably only a couple ounces of actual chicken. I was dunking the chicken in cheeseburger soup and it was great! Milkshake was fantastic and presentation was amazing. So if you aren't in a rush and want to enjoy an affordable meal with with family and friends in a cool place with great service then the Chop Shop is the place for you!

The food is delicious! I’ve made several visits. The strawberry milkshakes are unique and have great flare for the menu. The chicken sandwich was delicious and perfectly crispy. The salads hit the spot. Seeing the food being prepared is excellent and the atmosphere is great.

This is hands down my favorite place to eat in Butler. The menu is creative and unique, and the ingredients are fresh. My personal favorite here is The Goat salad. Plenty of vegetarian options too! Pictured is the tuna poke bowl, which was exceptional! Treat yourself to a gourmet milkshake while you’re there! And the cherry on top is the owners. I have known Lindsay for many years; she and her husband Bill, are the kindest people.

Stopped in for dinner during a work trip to Butler and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the friendliness and helpfulness of the waitress that waited on me. I left everything up to her to surprise me with an appetizer and entree of her choice. Started with the pot roast routine which, and this is not over exaggerating, was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten at a restaurant. The pot roast was tender, the demi glace was rich and insanely flavorful, and the cheese was rich, but not overbearing. Next was the entree and the osso ossobuco tasted as incredible as it's presentation. I will absolutely be back in a few months when I'm back in town. Do yourself a favor and stop in if you're ever in Butler, you'll be glad you did.
